Staying grounded means knowing what’s going on with your bodies, both spirit and physical, while you go about the tasks of daily living.
This is an important state to strive for. When we’re grounded we’re living in the present.
When we lose our grounding we begin to live in the past or worry about the future… One can lead to depression and the other to anxiety.
Being ungrounded is what causes you to misplace your car keys or to drive for an hour with no recollection of what happened during that time.
There are lots of ways to become grounded, and most of them are effective. I prefer to re-establish my connection with nature, my physical body and my spirit body…
